After an amazing yesterday we said good bye to Matthijs who we would meet in Edinburgh again when we where back and we continued to do some more stops on the southern part of Isle of Skye before we went to Eilean Donan Castle on the mainland. Today we had a great roundtrip around almost all of Isle of Skye! We started the day departing from our amazing hostel, Skyewalker Hostel, at 10 am to really have time to get around the Island. Today we had a long drive to get from Thurso to Isle of Skye and it was definitely the best part of the whole trip. The mountains and the nature was just breathtaking. There were sheeps and lambs everywhere and we also have the opportunity to get really close to a Highland Cow, that are just so cool! Early morning to catch the ferry from John O' Groats that would take us to Orkney Islands. The weather was not at its best but luckily we had a bus and busdriver that would drive us around the islands. This trip was great. Another day full of adventure! This friday we started our day with a boattrip on Loch Ness with the hope of finding Nessie the monster. As you could have guessed we did not find the monster but we had the opportunity to enjoy the loch and to see Uruqhart Castle which is on of the oldest castles in Scotland.
