The packing continues in a form of controlled choas. The second basingstoke house is with the letting agents and they are looking for some tennets for us. A couple of things to remove tomorrow and the house is ready for the cleaner that is coming on on friday.
The home is getting cleared out day by day. The local charity shops have done well out of us as we are sorting out the contents of the house. The Estate Agents are coming around to value it and put it on the market whilst we are travelling around Europe.
The picture above is from the Tornado, the newest Locomotive on the network. It was finished from new last year and it came through Basingstoke last weekend pulling the Valentine Pullman Special. It seems that over 50% of Basingstoke are secret train spotters, as the track was line by large numbers of people looking to catch a glimpse of the loco.
The motorhome has been checked over both with respect to the mechanical and habitiation and has passed. It has survived the cold weather (and it was cold), and none of the pipes have burst.
The ferry leaves in the evening on Saturday. We are on the home straight.
