Day Seven Schlern, Italy-Up at 7, a quick breakfast of bread and coffee and out the door back to Castelrotto, afraid that check out time was at 0900 or 1000. We flew down the trail covering a 4/5 hour hike (per the guide at the Rifugio) in less than 3 hours. We took the Paradise lift down to the main road, waited at a bus stop, caught the bus and arrived in Castelrotto by 1045. We asked what time checkout was and were relived to here it that it was at 1100. We asked for a late checkout and were denied. Tim went off to shower, and pack; I checked us out 1100 on the dot and then went and showered while Tim stood guard in the room. Tim and I started a load of laundry, filling the machine, stashed our bags in a Hotel closet and headed out to the market to get lunch. We brought back our food to the bar area, put the laundry in the dryer and ate. We re-packed in the spa area and then took off for the Bus station and then back to Bolzano.
