After some last minute decision making we decided to follow the troops to Sydney, so after a 12 hour bus ride there we were!! First day we spent discovering all the things we missed out on the first time round and discovered we actually do like Sydney (probably because of the sunshine!!) After a vile $5 steak and chips (we know this is a repeat occurence!!) we stumbled across the worst thing we could have stumbled across - a shop involving $14 or less clothing - oh dear. That evening we were both treated (seperately) to a rather delish dinner at darling harbour. Robyn indulged in a chicken tikka with John while Steph enjoyed kangaroo with the Doughtys - thanks guys for feeding the hungry and poor!! The next day we met up with Leanne and Hayley from the good old Stowmarket and headed to Bondi beach, catching up with each others stories and jumping the massive waves was in order! When we were all beached out we got the legendary 333 back to the city, where Robyn went out with the girls for the evening and Steph rejoined the Doughtys for another meal! We met up later in the 3 wise monkeys and boogied on down! Next day was spent basking in the sun with icecreams at Darling Harbour. Later that night we planned to meet up with old pal from Melbourne, Neil. Whilst sprucing ourselves getting ready, a bizarre creature called Anne entered our lives! The crazy german fool invited herself out with us and we being the lovely chicks we are were too polite to reject! So we began the trek to Cargo bar, with Anne in tow doing what she thought were great Aussie impressions All The Way! It was great to see Neil again, he was drinking with the sky sports crew and Nassa Hussein! but Anne somewhat ruined the night annoying us with details of her 'kissing partners' - get a life love!! With Anne nagging us to leave every 10 minutes we finally gave in to her hidious voice, and on the way out Steph was approached by Nassa and managed to get a photo - however he wasnt so impressed when Robyn informed him she didnt know who he was!! We ditched Anne for some wings at KFC on the way home. The following day, Robyn went to Tamarama Beach with John for a farewell sunbathe before he headed off to the airport, Steph joined the boys at Manly and managed to get some more spectac pics of the Opera House on the ferry ride home! We spent the next day on a bus ride back to Melbourne to catch our flight to Tasmania. More then xx
