Good afternoon/evening from
Dubai on our last day here but the jump to Bangkok. Has been a very relaxed day with little really to tell.

It has mainly been a case of getting ourselves sorted for our flight to Bangkok where our travels really begin. I slept ok last night, can only put this down to Tina not spraying my pillow with that knock out spray, we were up early enough to enjoy the swimming facilities and get our last few pictures in. Our remaining dh's took a bit of a thumping with having a few beers last night (I do actually mean a couple) but it has been a great stay and veryrelaxed considering I am now in theory unemployed and homeless.

Updates that we are getting from Bangkok are far from ideal regarding further flooding but little has changed in regards to trAvel advice so we are going in. im sure the Thai people will feel a sense of relief now the big guns like myself are flying in to sort out the situation. I apologise for the boring blog today but I have a feeling things are going to get a whole lot more interesting once we hit Thailand.

I will contact parents when we get into bangkok to let you know we are safe and not waterlogged straight away. I'm currently at the airport and trying to persuade Tina to drop me off at the area for unaccompanied kids as I spied at playstation to pass the time, sadly this is was declined.
