Morning to some. Another very enjoyable day/evenjng which has yet to finish. The evening has yet to finish as I am currently enjoying a leffe beer while watching man city go 3-2 up on qpr while listening to cover versions of well known songs get truly murdered. I'll
Pose the question, should a coldplay song ever be covered by a middle eastern band using 3 guitars? I'll answer that one please, it's without a shadow of a doubt not on my watch.
Woke up slightly later than planned, I blame Tina for this as the hotel has these sprays you can put on the pillows which supposedly helps you sleep, well I think it must have knocked me out and was sluggish this morning to.
Had an enjoyable look around Dubai and did the very cultural english thing of going to a waterpark, dad I can almost see you nodding your head in disgust as i write this.
Have to say it was amazing place though, checkit out on the Internet it's called Atlantis, crazy money must have been spent on it. One of the slides actually has you going through a massive aquarium built
Like Atlantis and has sharks sting rays around you. Some of the water slides were massive, one of the ones which has you travelling at 'back to the future' like speeds and made me scream like a little choir boy. Of course when I came out the other end i did the man thing and gave the look like it was tina and i was their for support but my acting days are behind me now I'm afraid.
One low point I saw the town score once I got on wifi, a disappointing 3-2 at home is poor and I'm only hoping for improvements. Moss I'm sure you enjoyed the peace and quiet without me there chatting away to you half cut but i was there in spirit.
Had a great lebanese meal for dinner and loving this new salad/dip called tabouleh, sadly my main course which was awesome has left me smelling like a garlic factory, so I'm sure Tina will be spraying the pillow again tonight.
Right I will sign off for now, I'll post some more pics once I get them off Tinas camera as we took some in the waterpark and around Dubai. Things are now picking up in the bar as a new chap has come on singing wish you were here by pink floyd and a group of Turkish old timers are going crazy for it, need to get me involved with those boys.
Hope everyone is well, day 2 progress on the tan is so so. Bangkok flight at 11pm tomorrow and their version of a waterpark. Now it's the start of travelling.
