We arrived in Cison late afternoon, after a beautiful drive through the Dolomites and headed straight to Duca Di Dolle to check in. The apartment was perched high up in the Prosecco vineyards at the top of some pretty hair raising bends and turns in the narrow roads. After dropping off all of the bags we headed to Cecilia and Caesar's house, where we were met with food and lots of wine! We ate salami, bread, and Brian's favourite gnarly, dressed tomatoes - delicious! After we were just about full, a huge pot of pasta was laid out in front of us, with lashings of creamy, cheesy, buttery sauce...so bad, but sooo good!

Linda presented The Italians with their gifts from The UK; beers, whisky, chutney, chocolates and the very popular Kate and William memorabilia! Creating just about enough room in the cars for lots of Italians goodies!

We decided it was time to turn in, after consuming 11 litres of wine between us; it goes without saying that we all slept well that night!
