Hey again :)

Well, this one is giong to be really short as I only have a few minutes on the computer! I just want to write about something crazy that happened to me the other night!

Well, I was walking to this hostel - the one that Will owns to rent a bike from him. Anyways, on the way i walked past this building and guess what walked out in front of me standing about 2 metres away from me?!!? A moose!!! A GIANT moose! came out and just stared at me. Then I slowly turned around and guess what was behind me. ITS BABY!!! That is like THE worst combination. Moose are dangerous as they are alone, but when they are around their own, they are very protective. I'm lucky they just ran off. But they were huge. And I came across a few more moose on the way home but they were much further away. I think there is a law - if you are under 14 or something you arent allowed to walk around by yourself after and before a certain time cause of the moose.

Anyways, today I spent the morning learning about marine inverterbrates - so I can teach the kids. I have been assigned as the first aider as well so I had to go through al the first aid kits to check that the material inside hasn't expired and make sure everything is in there. Also, Sherryl, the lady who owns the cabin i'm renting, came round to check up on me and make sure I have everything I need etc. Well, out of the blue, she gave me 2 x $25 vouchers - so $50 in total, for this local cafe called Lattitude. Very nice of her!!! Anyways I went there for lunch today and it was sooo good. Today is a lot colder - as the wind has picked up a bit.. but thats fine. Having all my warm gear - it doesn't really matter how cold it gets haha.

Tonight i'm probably just going to stay inside and read a book for a hwile - i'm quite tired. Maybe go for another shortish hike but I'l ldecide that later.
