Twelve hours sleep later we got up and the sun was out, we milled around the room for an hour or two then hit the pool. There were two actual sun loungers today as yesterday we got two mini sun loungers that were not comfortable at all, the scuba divers were in the pool practising decent and breathing techniques before going to the sea. The sun was blaring down with no cloud in it's path to stop it, I felt the sun burn being sent to me as it always does when I am on holiday. We laid there for about forty minutes when the English diving instructor sat next to me and asked me various questions about diving and where I am from, he looked a bit peeky, a French girl then came over to him and said 'do you remember what 'appened a last night?' he replied 'yes I got stupidly drunk and got my nipple pierced again' they then discussed how his face was a picture and the needle got stuck half way through and how some chap called Paul had kept getting naked. Sounded like a belting night but with a full fat coke and the French girl saying 'I was not that drunk and I was so ashamed' his head hit the lounger. The younger diving instructor chap then confirmed I was getting burnt already so I whipped my towel off the lounger and sat beside Sarah in the shade just watching the world go by, I said 'your looking a bit red Sar' 'I am fine' was the reply, about ten minutes later she shot up and said lets go back to the room for a bit, she looked very eager, when we got to the edge of the pool area she sat on the steps and told me she felt faint, she was insistent on getting to the room we made it to the steps leading up to our room she sat down again but insisted on going on in case anyone saw her. We were going down the corridor, at this point I had the bag on my back with laptop and passports etc in and a bag in my hand, two towels, two pairs of sun glasses, a book, my t-shirt and the room key, Sarah charged down the hall dragging her nails across the wall making a continuous nail filing noise and was stumbling from side to side, she walked straight passed our room and half way to the next and with this she hit the deck, luckily she still had enough about her to put her arms out but from sitting to falling she banged her head on the tiled floor pretty hard, I grabbed her and tried to bring her round, she was only out for about three seconds but it felt like an hour, I tried to make her lie down but she sat up (still stubborn even when out of it), I said 'I am going in the room to get you water', so turned around opened the door, before I could get to yon side off the bed she burst through the door and stumbled across the floor and fell onto the bed (like a toddler learning to walk), there were beads of sweat all over her (including a lovely sweat tash I might add), I got lots of water down her and put the fan on (I know I am like a modern day Mother Theresa) then when she had rested she had a cold shower (as if we had a choice), I was bloody terrified it was horrible seeing her fall and made me very worried, she felt o.k but had a headache from banging her sweed on the floor and did not feel up for lunch. She said it was just too much sun, which probably confirms how hot it was as normally when we are in Greece she's out in it all day with no problems. Our going out for lunch plan was foiled though, but both of us were so hungry we could hardly see. I went to the shop, I came back with a whole manner of things, well two sarnies, crisps, chocolate cake and pepsi max, we ate it and this made her feel a bit better. We then did precisely nothing for about three hours and watched a film (it was in English but was complete mutter) and relaxed on the balcony, we then at about four when the sun had lost a bit of it's heat went for a swim. I did a few lengths and threw Sarah in the air and spun her round, it was good fun there was no one around the pool and no one else in it. We got out after about thirty minutes and went upstairs for a shower (the time about 4:30 now). I skype'd my dad who couldn't hear me so ended up texting him. And again we sat out on the balcony. I returned to the shop for more crisps and more pepsi and made a potent little mixture of vodka and coke for us to enjoy whilst the sun went to bed for the day. We went out at around 7:15 as we wanted to watch a 'fire show' on the beach at 9:00, we found a lovely restaurant on the beach under a huge tree each branch covered in light ropes which looked really impressive, the prices were good too and we had noodle and rice (nope still not bored of them) and a side of spring rolls. Mine came with chilli powder and flakes which I picked up and sprinkled all over my meal, I had a bit... it was spicy but delicious, I then did a stupid thing, I scratched my nose of course putting chilli powder anywhere near your face, eyes or gentleman area is not good. It started to burn, the outside skin between my nose and upper lip felt burny (I believe this is called a feltrum but it didn't come up on my spell checker) but the pain up my gonga was like an explosion, I went to the carzy and basically snorted water in and out my nose, stuck hand towels up there and washed my hands. It didn't really help, luckily after about ten minutes it went away, Dr Sarah of course was really worried and decided to prescribe laughter as a cure (I can't blame her). We finished up the beer and the food and headed for the fire show at 'The Lotus Bar', we were about thirty minutes early and sat on the rug with two cushion mats to sit on, no one else sat at the front and as I looked round, we were weary as there was only six foot or so between us and the sea. They lit their chains with fire at the end, there were three of them, the music came on a bit of Snoop D-O-double G and they started spinning them, it was very impressive and fast, at this part I felt quite safe, then they got the sticks out, they were about three foot long and had a foot of fire at each end. These they did spin fast and close to us, not content with spinning them they were throwing them up in the air, it was good but hot for us sat four foot away, they must have been on fire (not literally we would have noticed) we left just before the end of the show and got water from the shop, Sarah went to sleep and I stayed up and watched the whole of 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' I then fell asleep at about 12:30.
