Arrrr god I was itching I counted up twenty eight bites, red blotches all over feet, legs, body, arms, hands, back and head the little vampire b******s, I walked to the shop to get some mosquito repellant. Which was a bit of a trek up and down hills but got some for a pound. We then had a wash and went to the beach, the beach that over looked the bay where our hut was had the best beach it was white sand which was powdery, about six huge coconut trees doted around the beach and then just where the water lapped in and out there were four trees all covered in green with archways into the blue water, I settled down securing two sun loungers as Sarah was having a shower and there was only about twenty sun loungers on this beach, Sarah joined me about fifteen minutes later, it was fairly cloudy and the sun kept coming out for five minute intervals but remained hot, which suited me to be honest as I was whiter than Kate Moss's nose. I hate the sea and the sand, it gets everywhere and the sea water terrifies me because I have watched too many documentaries and seen the whopping great fish that are hungry for flesh and when you get out it all sticks to you and feels sticky. Anyway, I couldn't resist, it was too perfect, I said to Sarah 'that's it I am going in' 'me too' was the reply. I marched over to the sea with some authority and got in with the snorkel mask we had brought the day before and got in, but no sooner was the water past my back wheels - it started weeing it down with rain, everyone ran off the beach and up to the bar overlooking the bay leaving Sarah and I in the sea looking a little silly, but I have always wanted to be in a tropical downpour and it was still hot and good fun, we remained in the sea until the rain had stopped (thought it was the best place to be, we couldn't get any wetter), about ten minutes later we went back for another cold shower and then headed down for lunch in the bar round on the other beach, two sandwiches and Sarah ordered chips, 'I'l have chips with mine' she said to the waiter,he looked baffled 'CHIPS' she said slightly louder so he would obviously understand it 'French Fries' I said 'o.k so two sandwiches, French Fries and two coconut shakes' 'thank you' I said, they obviously don't know what chips are!!! We ate and went back to the hut, I was praying it hadn't blown away (you can probably tell by now that it was built by Thai gypo's), it was still there, Sarah then had a two and a bit hour nap and I listened to my ipod whilst watching the boats come in and out with snorkellers and produce for the restaurant. It was brilliant, Sarah woke up and we went for dinner (she is like a cat - sleeping and eating are her two favourite things to do) it was still early at this point, about five o'clock, but we decided to have a couple of drinks before dinner and check on things back home as there was free Wifi in the hotel reception/bar, we ordered two Chang and got online, there was an E-Mail from Sarah's mum and that was that. I needed to check how Nottingham Forest were getting on in the league after our colossal win over Derby the previous weekend. About two hours later we ordered food, we both had green curry, it was an explosion of tastes with mint and lime and coconut in there, it was fairly spicy too (nothing like that pork on the train!) and made our noses run. Then we shared a coconut shake (tastes like ice cream) and hit the hay by about nine thirty as we wanted to get up early and pack because check out was nine thirty AM.

Sarah Ah the confusion over chips!! hehe. That downpour was crazy but fun! The cold shower after being in a cold sea was not and i still couldn't master flushing the toilet without a flusher!
