Day 1 and a leisurely departure from Ljubljana by train to Lake Bled. With our transfer from the station to the hotel waiting for us on arrival at Bled, we were in the hotel well before midday. There was just so much to see and do, quirky back streets, which we somehow always seem to gravitate to, vaulted ceiling cafes and restaurants behind innocuous facades or riverside bars where we can sit and watch the passing parade.
