Another day and another trail. Although the morning started a little grey, the clouds soon thinned and the sun shone through making it a great day to set off on the 10km hike from one end of the Lakes to the other. Leaving Bled at 7:00am with a nice little lunch hamper from the Hotel, we caught the train to Ljubljana and then bus to Zagreb. Even with the 45 min Border check as we left Slovenia and entered Croatia, the days travel went without a hitch. So here we are, it's our last day in Lake Bled and tomorrow we are off to Zagreb. This at week has been full of great bike rides through little villages set in valleys formed by glaciers, up and over the never ending ridges of the Julian Alps, cycle paths that follow small rivers or through fields of corn and golden wheat, with barely another bike much less a car along the way.
