Good evening everyone. Just realised I've been a bit lazy recently and haven't given you an update. Enland beat Wales...wahoo!! That's the important bit done.
I've been feeling a bit rough over the last few days, I think a lack of sleep and maybe the last few weeks of beers has taken it's toll but I'm on the way back as I sit in the pub about to watch the football with a pint in hand! I didn't go out last night which was pirates night in the local pub (Tuesday night fancy dress is a regular haunt as the chalet staff and I always have today off!) as I was feeling pants but waking up at mid-day has sorted me out!! I've been guiding guest on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and will be again tomorrow although the weather is meant to be pretty bad (snowy and cold which = poor visibility) but will hopefully be a good day anyway.
Transfer day was a bit of a nightmare - a delayed Manchester flight for a couple of hours and a very long transfer due to French half term traffic!! Otherwise all has been fine apart from I took a guest out on Monday skiing who wanted to be challenged - I took him down a bordercross at the end of a trip over to Italy to finish off with and I went first - it was a fast track and he followed me but ended up stacking it and hurting his back....ooopss!! He's alright though and I lent him a pair of my skis to make up for his mis-hap and h'e fine now.
Hope everyone's well back in Snowy England - looking forward to the family coming out next month!!
