Hi Everyone,
We arrived in Queenstown last night and oh my, how amazing is this place! It's kind of got a ski resort kind of feel about it but it is set on a lake and has some beautiful views. I was expecting it to be a little bigger than it is but I kind of like the 'intimate' atmosphere. The only problem is everything is so expensive! and there are so many amazing activities you can do that it kind of breaks my heart when I realise I can't do everything!
However I've managed to do a few things! This morning I went horse-riding, absoultely incrediable. It was really nice to be back on a horse after not riding for long. My horse was called Frodo (haha) and we rode through various settings which they used for Lord of the rings. The most exciting part was going through the rivers which came up to the horse's bellies, pretty scary but they seemed to know what to do! Me and another girl went off and did a bit of a canter, interesting, especially as the horses were so strong I couldn't really stop mine! Still it was a wonderful morning.
This afternoon there was about 13 of us from the tour group that went to do the 'shotover jet' - this is a jet boat ride which goes mega fast through a tiny river in a gorge and does 360 turns. It was so much fun!!! The only bad side is that is only lasted 25 mins! We were dropped off in town from this so I am currently sat in the internet cafe and still a little damp!
Ok, well thats just a brief outline of the day. Sorry i don't really have time to say about yesterday or the day before, or the day before, but hopefully I;ll get round to it at some point!
Hope everything is well back home!

Sandra Stuart Hi Becca, Saw your pictures of you skydiving on facebook. Looks amazing. You looked like you were enjoying every minute. So glad you are having a fab time. Yesterday I did the Tewkesbury half marathon. It was a nice dry and sunny morining - better than Saturday when it poured with rain. My time was 2 hrs 16 mins and not forgetting the 16 seconds. Was pleased with my time and I ran all the way! Emma is now all packed for her cruise with Ben. Its nice to hear yours news. Keep having fun. x
