Dear all,

I hope you are all well. I am currently in Kaikoura, a small town on the east coast of the south Island. A few poeple from our tour group have gone whale and dolphin watching but to save some money I decided not to do it. Also I am glad to have the afternoon to chill out for a bit and luckily they have an internet cafe here!

I have had a pretty exciting few days, including doing a skydive yesterday!! OMG how scared was I?!! Loads! But I am so glad I've done it as it was absoultely amazing. After the initial jumping out of the plane/freefall bit, when the parachute was up the views were absoultely incredible as we jumped over a national park. After leaving Kaikoura tonight we are travelling to Christchurch and staying there for the night before we pick up some more people tomorrow and then its on to Fox Glacier. Can't believe I'm already half way through the tour already, its going so fast but I'm lucky as Ive seen so many wonderful places, done some amazing things and met some great people (all that sounds a but cheesy but its true!).
