Hi! It was great to get your first message from across the globe thanking me for the birthday card (which, as you know, I didn't send). I am a lonely sort of chap, a bit of a Billy no-mates really, so you can appreciate my delight when I got your next message wishing me a happy birthday. (You probably don't know but my birthday is on February 29th - just one of the reasons for my occasional bouts of depression as I only get a birthday card every 4 years).
Anyway, my counsellor says I'm making great progress and with new friends like you two I should soon be off the medication and re-integrating into society.
I can't tell you how much I look forward to hearing from you again - I know you won't let me down like the last one - well he got what he deserved. (I'll tell you all about it when we meet up!!)

One of thel neighbours has complained about tuneless" noise - from the amplified bells at the church - and Jason enjoyed being in plaster so much that 2 weeks ago he re-ruptured his achilles. May be a bit early but HAPPY BIRTHDAY RALPH!!! Hope Angela remembered to pack your card and if so that you appreciate the continuing giraffe theme. Of course you will probably pick this up in about 6 months but the thought was there. Did consider calling your mobile but could cost you zillions so abandoned that idea. Whats the news out there?
