You should now be able to see a lovely lot of photos! we finally figured out how to do it! Im sorry there are so many of the damn opera house and so many creatures, but thats what we get excited about! Jo is still having trouble uploading hers for some reason, technology is quite tempremantal here. but they should be with you soon enough.
There isn't really a whole lot to say about the last few days as we have basically spent the whole time trying to find somewhere to live. And we have (finally) succeeded!!! woohoo!
We started looking for places with two lovely kiwi guys we have met as we thought it would be fun to share a place and we got on with them really well but they're need wasn't quite as urgent as ours so we're still looking with them but for something in a month or so. In the meantime we have got a room in a house in bondi junction, which is a town very close to bondi beach. Its an ideal location - 10 mins to the city via train, 15mins to beach via feet, 1/5 mins to town by bus or by feet respectively. Its a house share with a mix of girls and guys mostly kiwis again (they're everywhere!), they all seem very nice. We have our own room with our very own bathroom! The rent is very reasonable, its more what we expected to get for our money which is a shock as most of the places we were looking at were MEGA expensive for what it was. For example one guy wanted jo and i to share a "room" (cupboard) for $300 (150 squids) without a proper kitchen - literally just a camping stove - and have a korean guy sleep in the living room, and be miles away from everything. This did not fill us with much joy so we chose NOT to live there. Im sure you will agree it was the right choice. The man's crazy. Sometimes it pays off to be picky!
Other than that we have explored much of syney and its surrounding areas, celebrated jo's birthday, met many many wonderful people and have started to look for work AND volunteering stuff! Very productive i feel!
So what do you know there was a bit to say, as always i waffle on so i will leave you now. We must get back to packing as we move in tomorrow and as usual we have had a clothes explosion all over the room!
Lots of love and kisses. x x x
