Today we headed for Cape Town with the main aim of going up table mountain. After quite a drive (which seemed to go halfway up the mountain anyway) we joined a huge queue for the cable car to take us up. Although it was about a 40 minute wait it didnt seem so long as we were able to see the amazing views. Once we'd paid, we were quickly put on to the next cable car. The car that we went up in was fairly big and the floor rotated so that everyone got a view of everything, which I think is a good idea. At the top you could see for miles, especially as it was a really clear day. We wandered around for a while taking photos and also grabbed some lunch there.
The plan after we got down from table mountain was to get a bus tour, but in the end we decided not to as the last bus was at 3 and it didnt give us very long. Instead we drove to Three Anchor Bay where my Great Gran used to live... again we saw amazing views. (you've probably got the picture that the views are amazing here by now)
The evening was left for just relaxing and we visited some of Glenda's friends, one of whom has been a diver all of her life. They recommended lots of places that we can visit although how we're going to fit them in I have no idea.
