Hey everyone Cant believe it now have under two weeks in Levuka left. I had a good weekend we went to silana beach with Fran. We stayed with a lovely family and went on a trek to the ancient village. It was very interesting I spent most of my time laughing and on the ground as it was so slippery and went I could not control my feet it was pretty funny I have found several cuts today from where I tried to grab hold of anything - trees, grass, bushes,people to stop myself falling. We had some amazing views though it was a shame the weather wasn't better. The guide who took us on the trek climbed a tree using his mashette to get us some coconuts and we drank the juice it was very refreshing. We swam in the afternoon and had some amazing home cooked food. In the evening the villagers came to the Bure and sang and drank Kava and we danced it was good fun learn a Fijian dance - which consisted of stepping forward and then back even I could master that dance. Then on the sunday I went to the local church with the daughter of the family (Casa) and the singing was pretty amazing and she then took me to several of her relatives in the village. The family want to do a farewell dinner for Fran on thurs so we are going back to stay next week which will be good. I am hoping that the weather here will brighten up as it has done nothing but rain oh well at least it is still warm here.
