I've finally arrived in Hong Kong. Thank you everyone for your lovely messages, cards and presents of support before I left.
Currently on my second evening here in Hong Kong, I arrived yesterday after an overnight flight from Heathrow. I was met by my manager and taken for dinner with her and her husband to a local Thai restaurant. The food was amazing but I have never seen so much of it! Her husband also showed me around the local pet market; a street designated to selling animals, particularly fish, tortoise, cats and dogs. One fish was selling for $63,000 HK Dollars!! ....probably going to buy some fish with my flatmate but think we may have to settle for a goldfish.
I'm currently staying in Mong Kok, on the 19th floor directly above the Women's markets. It's surprisingly quiet despite the manic hussle and bussle downstairs. On Friday I'll be moving to my permanent accommodation in the New Territories; Lohas Park more in the outskirts/country.
Today we spent the day doing initations and training, a long day after travelling yesterday but really interesting to find out more about what we'll be doing. Below is a link to the Nursery which I will be teaching in:

Thats all for now! :)
