Well were can we start!!! It has been such a fast month travelling up the coast. We end up forgetting what day it is half the time and have no sence of the time anymore. But finally after zillions of bus rides & 1000's of kilometres we are in Cairns. And my mum has come to visit us so we thought we would meet her at the airport! Taking the advise of the locals we thought it was only a 10 minute walk and set out on our travels, only to find that it took us over an hour, it wasnt the walk that bothered us, it was the fact that it was pitch black and we had not knowingly set off down a 20 mile isolated road that seemed never ending and had lots of creeks about. Needless to say we were scared s***less - literally!!! Kate was scared of a croc getting out of the creek and attacking us and I had visions of a mad man kidnapping us and butchering us into pieces (like in the film Wolf Creek) Got to say one of the stupidest things we have done so far!!! But at least we lived to tell the tale!

Next was our boat trip on the Great Barrier Reef, we got to swim with sharks, and surprisingly not as scary as it sounds, just totally AMAZING!!!! Got to see real Nemos and turtles aswell as lots of other colourful underwater sights!!! Also while we have been in Carins we visted Capr Tribulation - Spectacular rainforest that meets the ocean, from here we saw the spot were Steve Irwin died. So what next? ??? Well we hadnt really made any concrete plans after Cairns, just see were the wind blew us. So now we are venturing off to work on a property in the outback for 6 weeks!!!!
