Two major things happened today.....

1.   Raymond returned back from his very short trip to Australia. He had left us a couple of days ago to go to Australia, where he had a tourist visa already set up. When he arrived at the immigration desk at the airport, I think that he must have told them that he was going to start to look for work while he was here. This is a big no-no as they held him in a detention centre for two days and then shipped him back on the next available flight to Thailand. I guess he learnt his lesson the hard way.

2.   I got a call from Richie and Luke today letting me know that they had not got around to sorting out the house that we were all going to share and that they would stay in their hotel now until they had to leave and go back home to Australia. So as I only had 3 more nights left at my hostel, I decided to check out of my dorm room and book in to a private room so that I could have my own bathroom and air-conditioning for a few days. It was a rubbish bed but the air-conditioning made up for it. Why didn't I do this earlier as it was only 600 Baht per night (£12) for a little bit of luxury.
