he day for exploring is finally over. Boy am i tired!.. Okay so downtown toronto is wayyyyy bigger than downtown auckland but i feel stupid mentioning this cz i feel i should have known that and worn proper shoes so that i didnt get blisters all over my feet! oh well..
I thought it would be a good idea to check out Neill Wycik.. the place i am goin to be living at from Sept1st onwards... a tip at this stage would be.. REMMEMBER TO TAKE THE ADDRESS.. i stupidly thought.. oh how big could gerrard st be..il just start walkin and see.. WRONG IDEA!.. i walked around for 45 mins and could not find my accomodation. Once i came home i realised i was walkin on Gerrard st West instead of East..and i felt really lame especially as i spent the btter part of the 45 mins tryin to find my way (yes people.. this is the time when u quietly snigger at perzen's stupidity). I managed to also go to Dundas Square which seems to be the heart of downtown and guess what? the business building is PART OF THE MALL?? so i shall be studyin a mall.. this feels a bit strange but unique at the same time!..
The exploring today was great. i am loving all the big buildings! and i walked through the commerce district on the way back and then to The Walk of Fame which has embedded stone with autographs of famous people such as Mike Myers, Celine Dion etc.. pretty dinky idea!..
It is now time for me to head to the super cool industrial kitchen of Global Backpackers and attempt to make myself a meal.. wish me luck!
