Day 24. Today we must leave lovely Parry Lagoon and move east to Kununnurra, as after 6,000km we have then reached our halfway point of The Great Northern Adventure. It's been a great trip so far and lots more to come as we head east and then south. Checked into a beautiful shady campsite on the edge of Lake Kununnurra, only inches from the water. We checked that there are no crocs here. We took the back road again and to our favourite fishing spot. More huge crocs lazing in the sun on the far bank, some over 5 metres. Ross attracted one into the middle of the river coming towards us, time to head back to the vehicle and get outa there! Swimming and reading by the lake. Dinner tonight BBQ lamb chops, salad and a beer or two. Another great day!
