7th April 2006 - Day 7

1st week in India has gone well - what a mad rush. Its our last day in Pushkar what a shame just getting used to a town and the routine. Spent the last day relaxing - walking around the lake, spent our last evening at the very same sunset cafe watching the sun go down.

8th April 2005 - Day 8

Reluctantly left Pushkar to head for Jaipur for day before on to Delhi. Saw the famous bazaars of Jaipur and relaxed in Jaipur museum park. Went to eat at a dosa and ice cream restaurant, which was recommended by a local shopkeeper. Pancakes of rice or wheat flour which if filled with potato and onions tasted like a pasty! Rach had a coconut filling more like a sweet. Cheap which was good too.

9th April 2006 - Day 9

Set of for the six hour drive to Delhi - stopped at the Amber Fort on the way. Decided to hitch a ride on the hill to the palace on an elephant. Palace was pretty impressive and the views were amazing.

10th April 2006- Day 10

Delhi. A rest day before off north. Went to the Lotus Temple (looks like the sydney opera house) but it was closed, so saw it from a distance. Found a nice bistro cafe in haus kanz village very like the primrose hill of delhi!! And then saw the deer in the nearby park.
