Good to hear from you today and to read your latest on The Inca Trail to Machu Pichu. Looking forward to seeing the pictures. You seem to have taken the challenging route! We remember arriving by relaxing, scenic train ride and a gentle walk up to the ruins. News on the house. Those keen 'buyers'eventually agreed on the price we wanted after a week of negotiating and are hoping to move in in five weeks!
Mum
Hi you two - I wonder if you've reached Machu Pichu yet? Watch out you might bump into Lisa (Johnsey). Her dad says she too is wandering round South America at the moment. She was in Santiago a couple of weeks ago and maybe heading your way.
I'll have to start getting out the welcome home banners soon. You'll be coming back just in time to help us move house. We've got a very keen buyer coming round on Saturday, who wants to move within the next five weeks. Looking forward to the next batch of photos - keep them coming. I don't know how long this computer will last though - it's getting slower and slower and keeps crashing....sometimes in the middle of an e-mail!

Hey, you two really are having a wonderful experience - shame about the i-pod - but at least you have pictures on this site. They look breathtaking, especially in front of the glacier. I don't think that's something we'll ever experience! You know what we're like for enjoying warmer climes.
It's quite hard keeping up with you since you landed in South America - in fact we're getting behind in our album! We will try and catch up this week. We're also doing a lot of 'toing and froing' in between Coventry, Croydon, Otterbourne (househunting) and getting Underhill Farm up to scratch. Have to also get this house on the market so we have some decluttering to do. Dad's new job also involves weekly trips to Otterbourne, the Isle of Wight and Horsham as well as over to Falmer.
Enjoy your adventures!

Hey Karina, We're in Buenos Aires at the mo - off to catch a football game at Boca Juniors today (apparently their famous!) Anyway we living on bread, cheese and ham (24/7) of every variety - and the occasional slab of argentine steak! We`re running a little low on cash but are managing ok - no jobs thou travelling's enough hard work. Hope you have a lovely time in Spain. We'll be back on the 31st March so i'll pop into see you when we get sorted. Take care Rach & Paul xxx
Karina
Rach 'n Paul, thought I'd better catchup and checkout where you have "landed". The pics are fantastic. What are you living off at the moment? Will you be working or is this the real hard labour? When are you expected back? I'm off to the apartment in Spain in a few weeks. Sounds so weak compared to your fantastic adventures. I enjoy looking at all the pics. Just as well you are able to blog them. Your back pack wouldn't be able to carry them all! Take care and be safe, Karina and the girls. x x
Paul
A week into the South American experince and we´re in Chile, the island of Chiloe to be precise. A very quiet little island mid way down the coast. So far so good but, we havent been able to get a ferry south through the fiords, its also damn expensive too! So are heading to Argentine Patagonia and heading south overland.
Rachael
Hey Karina and family
Great to hear from you, glad to here everythings good for you. As you can see we're back on the road after 6 months of workin, for the past 2 1/2 weeks we've tried to cram in as much of the North Island as possible, bungy jumping, black water rafting and volcano climbing - wow! its been hard work. Only 4 more days left in NZ then onto Chile. Hope you all had a great New Year, take care. Lots of love Rach (paul) xx
