Hi guys. Hope you are having fun "down under", I always do! Summer has yet to start here, so I hope you are both bronzed by now to make us feel extra jealous when you post your piccies. Not too much happening back home, Ella's 1st birthday on Saturday (how about that eh, another year gone) she will be so grown up when you get back, I'll remember to bring your email address home from work one day so I can send you some updated piccies. Charlotte won a modelling competition in The News to be the face of Portsmouth (she was literally head and shoulders above the rest) reminds me of when I won rear of the year in 1987 (I peaked early and its all been down hill from then). Other than that Rooney's big toe has eclipsed the war in Iraq, the state of the government and and anything else in English life....do Wales have a football team? We are recruiting for your post next week but how will we ever replace you.... hmm maybe Marwell could help!! Anyway going now as England are 2 up against Hungary and I need to run round the garden with my shirt over my head.. Take care x
Mum
Glad you didn't get lost! There was a programme on TV this week about all sorts of people getting lost in the outback - but reassuringly for us Mums everyone survived ....but couldn't help thinking.... Dad seemed pleased to get his 'Old Man' message this morning - but he'll be getting a complex soon with all the cards referring to his greying hair and brain! Ordered him a new bike (using Richard's discount from Halfords) but not here yet. He's been complaining since we got back from Japan that the old bikes in the garage are not up to his Japanese one. Richard bought him an 'easy to make' sushi mould as he's been trying to stick bits of fish and rice together lately (sushi style) with varying success.
Just checked out your itinerary - see it's Sunday in Cairns. You could call in on Cousin Lorraine on your way to Sydney. Everyone's looking forward to the next batch of pictures so get downloading. Love Mum
Big Brother David
Hi to you both! Hope you are having a great time, sorry it's taken me so long to get a message to you! The pics are amazing, at work and it is 9.25am GMT. Get in touch both take care, let me know everything your doing and your plans, who knows we could be coming out to see you very soon!!!
Take care love David. xxx
Paul And Rachael
In Alice Springs now, but you will notice the lack of new photos as all Hong Kong and most Aussie Internet Cafes we find seem to not let you connect cameras ipods etc up to download pics on to the net. Will try to rectify this soon with an update of pics. Happy Birthday Dad!!
Mum & Dad
Don't get lost in the outback!
Paul And Rach
We've booked ourselves a camper for Wed to get down from Darwin to Alice. So will be hitting the open road soon, but keeping clear of that Wolf Creek. C ya later!
Mum & Dad
G'day in Darwin! - should be good now they've let you into the hostel and you've had chance to have a proper sleep. Glad to hear you arrived safely after the bumpy flight! Say Hi to your Australian cousins.
