Wow! Just had a look at some of the new pictures and it is all so picture-perfect, I especially like the fire festival ones, reminds me of the scene in Tomb Raider (if you see Angelina on her travels put in a word for me), I guess from the photos that you are settling more and more into the routine of mooching around from place to place and just soaking up the atmosphere, sure as hell beats work or whatever it is Meriel does all day!! Did you not fancy riding the train roof to your destination like in the old movies, it would have been cooler than the top bunk, still I am sure you had the last laugh Rach as heat may go up but flatulence goes down and we didn't call you the 'Welsh Wafter' for nothing!

Hi everyone - hope your enjoying the diary entries - Pauls trying to update some new pics today so we'll see what we can add on. We've taken 581 pics so far - far too many to scan through!!! Enjoying ourselves in Goa - weather quite cool and the sea is gorgeous!!! 5 more days on the beach then off back to Mumbai to catch a flight to Hong Kong.

Hope all is well. We just got back from our French trip....but no new pictures on your site! Had a good time but don't think we'll go into the B&B business - a holiday home in the Dordogne (comfortably warm for for longer) is more in our minds now. Think we'll ask around to see if we can share one with others.

I see Junko and Yasuyuki have found you (Konichiwa!). They asked for flowers. I'd like to see more of the people you meet - so more people pictures please...and not just you - though I must say you're looking good.

P.S. Could you pick me up a copy of the Himalaya Times, it was quoted on the BBC website this week, what a great name for a local paper, puts The News to shame, but for some strange reason it isn't available in the Co-Op....

Jo and I thought your flashing red square had moved to the middle of mainland China so we moved the pin on the map at work, but you are clearly still in India! Maybe Jo and I need to travel further than B-Wise (Jo for her clothes) or Somerfield (me for my bucket of egg mayo) to get a real sense of the scale of the big wide world.

Hi Sam and family. Thank you very much for your hospitality in Chandigarh and it was good to meet your family. I'm afraid that because of the short time we have in India (and so much to fit in) that we will have to thank you for your offer of accomodation and visit to your cousin's farm, but will have to apologise and decline.
