Grandma
Hello hope you are still having a really good time , I am looking through your web site with your Mum. The photographs are very interesting. You appear to have had some good weekends travelling through New Zealand.
Thank you for the cards that you sent to me- they were very gratefully received and I am glad to report that I am now virtually 99.5% fit again. That is fit for an oldie.
All the best
Love Grandma

Just been viewing the ski pictures from last weekend. Looks like you had a winter wonderful birthday! Sunny too! Richard's getting jealous when he sees all that snow - and his board laid-up in the garage. Speak to you soon - especially when I can get this 'Callserve' sound quality improved.
Ian
Rachael, save me some of your Welsh cakes and some of the New Zealand cakes made by Paul's kiwi friends. Ian
Rach & Paul
Hey everyone - still loving it, loving it, in New Zealand just booked some skiing at Mount Hutt for Paul's birthday in two weeks - lookin forward to that. This weekend managed to head west to the mountains - Arthur's Pass - amazing scenery - very lord of the rings! Saw a few hobbits and orcs in the rolling hills and wide valleys, ok they were sheep and cows.
More photos soon!!!

Hi Paul and Rach,
Seems like you are doing great in NZ! Your furniture sounds nice, I bet you'll want to take it with you when you move, by then you might find yourselves strangely attached to it. Anyway, retro is in, right?
Everything is pretty much the same here, we are really excited that we only have seven more work days before our holiday. It is clearly too late to have the summer holidays at the end of August! Must plan better next year. By the way: I passed all three of my exams in May. Now I only have one left to do and then I am freeeeee! Oh, and I have started a new job. I'm still in the same place in Basingstoke, but I am slowly but surely moving up the ladder (v happy about that).
Take care of each other!
Love,
Cat
Rach
Susan and Paul - thanks for the messages i'm glad to hear you haven't forgotten about me!! P: Work is ok - althou just as bad as back home, actually probably worse - the hours are longer but the money is less - can you believe that!!! Got a new job a little more money working as a receptionist - but its only part-time for now.
S: No home baking as yet but Paul's new office has this thing where everyone has to take it in turns to bake a cake so Paul's roping me in to do some Welsh cakes - lets hope the New Zealanders like some good old welsh baking or i'm on the first flight back home to Pompey!! Our home is coming along - more furniture now atleast, some lovely 70's retro sofas with a matching 70's table (brown and orange stripes - yum!!). Take care Rach xxxx
Paul (Pompey)
Hi, how is your new home going? Did the analyst family potrait brighten the place up (if you are good with scissors you can probably cut the other 3 out without damaging any part of me). How is the working going? Is working in another country any less awful than working in this country or are boredom and apathy a global phenomenon? Have you had a facial 'Ta moko' done yet, should improve your employment opportunities there no-end - get Paul to do it with a felt-tip pen for the first week just to make sure it suits you. Anyway tea-time (well chocolate and crisp time - you know the crazy diets us top atheletes have to endure - its all about the carbs!) xxx
Susan
Hi Rach and Paul, your photos look absolutely brilliant and it looks like you're having a great time. The beaches in Australia look amazing and I am so envious, in fact it all looks pretty good. Are you back to your home baking now Rach, 'cos I'm still missing your cakes!!! You'll be pleased to hear nothing's changed at work - still the same. Paul's as mad as ever and Jo's over excited 'cos she's buying a house. We need you back to put some sanity back in the place. Anyway continue having fun on your adventure, take care and looking forward to your next batch of photo's. xx
