7th February 2007 - Day 313 Decided to arrange a tour of the Puerto Moreno Glacier tour - set off early on the Alternativo Glacier tour, which meant a walking tour of the glacier. The walk was really cool, we got really close to the water and could see the Glacier spreading out across the water, only one word for it really - amazing!!! 26th January 2007 - Day 301 Caught the bus from Valdivia to Castro, which is one of the main towns on the island of Chiloe (off the west coast of Chilean Patagonia). Managed to finish off a Jane Austen book called Persuasion im reading and couldnt put down, its fantastic and very romantic. 21st January 2007 - Day 296 Set off from Chillan to Pucon in another air-conditioned bus. Arrived at Pucon late in the evening, stayed at a nice hostel ´Hostel donde Jerman´ just outside the town. Pucon is full of tourists, its has a very austrian ski resort feel. The towns building are made of wood, wood and more wood. A very nice place to stop for a few days and do some volcano climbing, whitewater rafting, kayaking or horse trekking, loads of things to keep...

16th January 2007 - Day 291 We now had to start the 16th January over again - weird!! Set up camp at a really hip hostel ´Bellavista´in Barrio Bellavista. Had a little recovery nap and headed off from some Chilean food.
