I'm now in the thick of thinks in Bangkok.
It's been six years since I've been here, but I got off the bus and remembered exactly where to walk to get to my hotel. Some things have changed on Khoa San road, though. It's not the out-of-control place of old with scantily-clad girls serving drinks from the roofs of vans and drunken foreigners splayed out on the sidewalk in the early morning hours without their shoes. There seems the be far fewer people and it's very civil now. Not sure why tourism would be so down. It's still a busy place, though.
Oh, and the photo is of me in the cockpit of the Boeing on my flight from Bali to Singapore. Only outside of the western world would this be possible
