Friday 04th MayJournal brought to you by a happy SophieToday I went on a bike ride up to these waterfalls. Tami didn't want to go because she didn't think she would keep up but she would have been fine. I am so glad I did it because it was a gorgeous ride. I went through a golf course (I took loads of pictures of it Dad because you would have loved it - the views from it were amazing) and then a forest and then out to the waterfalls. It took about 2 hours and was lovely. Very pretty. When I got back Tami hadn't appeared from the walk that she had gone on so I went and played football on the beach with Dan and Ted. When she came back we cooked some food and then had to get back on the bus to go to Auckland. It was sad leaving because I had grown to love the place and the people in that short time and Tami was devastated because she had fallen in love with someone called Ollie and she couldn't bear to leave him. By the way it should be mentioned Ollie is a dog...Back in Auckland we had quick showers and then went out with people from the Kiwi bus to the Globe Bar. Mich also joined us and we met some locals so it was a good laugh. We played Mich at pool when we got back and lost, just. It was a good evening and the music was great. However we have noticed that New Zealand are quite a way behind England in the music stakes. Never mind eh? I am writing less and less but I don't know why. I must have writer's block...
