Bonjour - Day 2 of our Paris Escapade. We got an early start and caught the RER to Hard Rock Cafe to pick up our Paris passes and other goodies. Coffee time now. Poor Russel can't find anywhere that has a BIG cup when he orders his cafe latte, all the places so far have little cups. We jumped on board the Hop on Hop off bus and as usual we stayed on for the full circuit which took 2hrs 15 minutes. Nothing compared me for the breathtaking view of Arc de Triomphe....

Bonjour All, Yes we made it after a LONG 22 hour flight arriving at 6.40am, bad jetlag and aching muscles but all that was forgotten when we saw the Eiffel Tower for the first time - WOW. It's much more spectacular than I ever imagined. Though the dirty brown colour doesn't do it justice it's a magnificent feature of imagination.
