Shell's latest entry
St Emilion, France
Monday 12 May - Morning stop at St Emilion- HIGHLIGHT !!!. We first went on a train ride through the myriad of vineyards surrounding the village, this took 35 minutes. We had 2 hours at this gorgeous medieval town, with the irons of the Cloitre des Cordeliers and the unusual 14th century underground church. I could have spent the whole day …
Ross Bonjour Shell, Another day in paradise. The Loire Valley is just such a beautiful place. I love the personal chalet. It's what you deserve. Enjoy your travels. Au revoir, Ross & Mary xxx
re: Loire RiverRoss Great first entry on your French adventure Shell. I'm glad you had an upgrade to Business class. Disneyland Paris sounds like a blast.
re: Euro DisneylandJen Good start to the holiday Shell!
re: Euro DisneylandJen Well it certainly sounds as if you did Paris well! Looking fwd to hearing more about your cruise as it progresses. All thinking of you at home and wishing you good times.
re: Paris, FranceJen Shell, Monet's garden was a place we would have loved to have visited. Sue Hart told us all about it and it sounds similar to the places you visited. It sounds idealic. Well you can cross that one off the list - lucky you!

re: Citroen TourShell You can only taste after you buy & after visiting 6 shops we had a lot of chocolate !!! The only chocolate we bought was for our river cruise we were told it wouldn't be good to carry around the chocolate for four weeks then the long trip home. The stuff we bought for f&f were souvenirs from Brugge. That's why we thought to post them home. Yep I have lost 4kgs and Russi has lost 3kgs
re: Brugge, West-Vlaanderen, BelgiumJen Boy, you are fitting heaps in every day.........lucky ducks. Great photo of you both - you look like you have lost weight Shell (all that walking is doing you good). Bruges sounds wonderful. You said you bought chocolate for all the family and friends but did you get to taste it yourselves?
re: Brugge, West-Vlaanderen, BelgiumJen Oh it sounds just wonderful. It makes a difference doesn't it having a local guide. You will be built like a greyhound when you have finished with all the walking you are doing.
re: Citroen Tour & LouvreJas zoom zoom...LOL x
re: Citroen TourJen yuck..........can't get past the garden variety..........you should have had the Blitzem in your purse to stop them multiplying.
