Late for chanting, I knew I was running late, was just about to leave and realised I hadn't pulled my tarot, so whats a couple more minutes late? Plus it was cold.
I enthusiastically chanted with the odd giggle and quite a few yawns. Everyone is shattered on the course or has a bit of the runs, so Sivadas asked who wanted to watch a documentary, everyone put up their hand, so he asked who is adamant that they wana do Yoga, so I popped up me hand and was told to practice silently in the corner.
Sod that, I went out on the balcony where the sun had started to shine, what a beautiful day. Jen came out to join me, and then Hili, so we kinda had a chat and a stetch and Hili went through what she was going to say in her lesson that afternoon as it was her turn to teach. We finished up at 9.30 so the three of us went to lhamos where I introduced them to the hummus salad and banana milkshake. We went through the lesson for Hili helping her with precautions for each exercise and had general banter, So I was 5 - 10minutes late for my 11am lecture, they were just reading through the advanced anatomy book. Once I got changed, sat down and got settled down. Sivadas turned to me, 'Vicky you seem to be struggling, you will not attend afternoon lectures or morning chanting and you will rest.' Pai Pai asked if she too could skip the lectures, 'no', haha. So i am so pleased gives me time to actually do something, from 9hours to 6hours of school a day.
As we were reading about chemistry taking turns, with English being my first language I was reading 4 or 5 pages at a time while the rest did a page or when they got fed up passed it on, was funny us all trying to say chemistry terminology, I kept getting into fits of giggles.
So I had the afternoon off til 4pm, this was brilliant, I had food, made a to do list, chilled out, it was great. I made sure I was early to class, and when I got there everyone had cats on their laps!
Hatha practice, oh ive felt so good doing yoga today, im finally back to the flexibility I was before I hurt my back, feels so good.
Me and the girlies from class went to the Japanese place for food. It was nice, we were on a small table where we could talk as a group, and it was great. We all love how the two other advanced students had now left, as the New Yorker was just so up herself it was unreal, and you can definitely tell in class that everyone is so at ease now that she has gone. But they really are a lovely group of people. I will miss them when the majority of them leave at the end of April. They were all calling me the rebel of the class, but I was saying I;m not a rebel, i just dont like wasting my time, and when i already know stuff i cant concentrate on it as I just get bored, so napping or taking my notepad to work on something else is just more productive!
I then got home and had really bad wind, I blame the miso soup I had, so I got milk. Hot milk and honey before bed is what ive been doing every night instead of chai. But im incapable of making chai or hot milk without the pan overflowing, which goes all over the little stove thing, all over the bench and leaks onto the floor, everyday I do this twice a day, its ridiculous, I cant stand watching it heat it and boil then turn it off, I wander off and forget, then when I hear it over flowing and burning, I run over and switch off the gas. Only then to have to clean up the mess and loose half me milk! I didn't clean it up properly this time and the honey has made me stick to the floor. a 2minute job turns into a 20min job! Spoke to the parental for about an hour, and found out im 2085meters above sea level. Then it was a shower and speaking to Richy before bed. It was a late night, after 12.xx
