Slept like a log! Harrison was up bright and early, ready to go at 7.30am, wondering why no-one else is up yet lol x Breakfast then Universal Studios today. Ok, so brilliant, fantastic or amazing - which one describes today? All 3 I guess! $15 to park, ouch! but hey-ho, it's open until 5pm/8pm tonight so not so bad.

Despicable me - marks out of 10... definitely 10! Shrek 4D - at least an 8 but a bit dated - The Simpsons - 9 out of 10 - fantastic! Then ET... mmmm... disappointed - a very outdated ride and our kids didn't know who ET was!! Shows how old we are! Plus it scared Harrison it was too spooky!

Islands of Adventure - first ride was The Hulk which Liam and Rich went on twice! Luke was 1" too small and was very upset he couldn't go on it :o( did get at least two cracking photos of Liam and Rich on the hulk, my camera is awesome! We then visited Seuss' Landing and Harrison LOVED The Cat In The Hat ride - we went on it twice! This area is just like the books, fab for Harrison! Rich, Liam and Luke went to The Dragon ride (Luke too small again!) and the Harry Potter ride - both fast moving so ideal for older ones.

Food was great here (sweet and sour chicken) but was still expensive. We've decided to come back tomorrow and finish what we haven't done. Drove back and ate the packed lunch plus a phone call with an old friend who lives out here - nice catch up. Shame he's too far to visit.
