Picked up Nina at the airport last night... Very happy to see her and excited for the week ahead! Since she was tired from the long travel day, basically we went back to the hostel and crashed.

This morning, we all had breakfast before setting out for a walk in (rainy) Prague. Perused a mall and an outdoor market, where we bought some grilled chicken! Tasty! From there, we went to the Old Town Square, saw the Church of Our Lady of Tyn and the astronomical clock, where the clock acts out a scene every hour, in which the twelve apostles appear and chimes are played. Oh, and the crowd goes nuts... Cameras everywhere!

From there, we walked Charles Bridge, which was really cool, but also very very busy. On the other side, we made our way to the nearby John Lennon Wall. When Lennon was murdered in 1980, someone spraypainted his face on the wall, a revolutionary act at the time. Since then, the wall has become an ever changing mural dedicated to the ideals that Lennon represented. Very cool.

Had an amazing supper at a local restaurant and went to bed a bit early. Fantastic day!
