Hello again everybody! Too much time has passed, once again, but we are well and alive in the lovely and lively town called Cuzco, kinda nearby Macchu Picchu. We left La Paz last Monday, the hectic life, exaggerated nightlife and pollution in the air did their tricks, (even though getting La-pazed and stuck in there was too close to happen), finally after easter we got moving, towards east we decided. The first stop was the famous Copacana and Lake Titicaca, with the famous ruins in the island of Son where the Inca god supposingly first appeared. Well... cobacana kinda didnt live up to it´s name. For example there were no international atms, only a bank, that was open three hours a day and not at all on Monday.... hmm, we were kinda missing those extra dollars that got stolen in Santiago. Well, anyhow, on Tuesday we had the most suprising restaurant breakfast ever. There was only one man working, he was the cook and the waiter, and after two hours of waiting, we found infront of us bananasmoothies that he called limonade, and two veggie omelets that didnt have any eggs but pancake mix instead. And they were raw. Nothing else to say really.... still kinda shocked. Well, better keep on going i guess.. the next day we went to the Sun Island, and well ummh.. we got basically robbed because we didnt plan it well. We ended up paying a private taxiboat, for six people, which was maybe the slowest boat ever, and gaspoisoned everybody who tried to stay inside the boat. The island itself was really pretty, but because of the lack of time we barely saw any ruins, but bunch of pigs, sheep and funny insects instead. The netx stop was Puno, which is on the other side of the lake, which turned out to be reeeally good. It is a lively town, where you can take motorbike or biketaxis (or maybe even pay them to ride around the plaza to have a ride?). We had fun and cheap hostel nearby the center, and we saw the funny floating islands. We actually also found a local festival there, a local band playing fun music for the Saint Kilke Kilke, people dancing and men drinking beer (no women touched it). We made some friends, danced with the people, and made ourselves famous. There are many islanders now with our pictures on their cellphones... Well, hmm, Puno treated us well, but we got to move to Cuzco anyway. And Cuzco is really really good too, we finally found (or they found us) the long wanted massage yesterday, and today we went to horseriding in some incaruins. So again and finally, everything good at this side of the planet, today there is a togaparty, and on Wednesday we will go to Macchu Picchu.. Looking forward to it!! =) Kisses hugs and everything good to all ... ;)
