So on Tuesday we went to Akihabara to meet with Miika (who went training again) at about 1 p.m. We had some tea and coffee and continued onto find electronic city in Akihabara. We really wanted to find the huge department store we went to last year but just couldn't remember the name of the place. We ended up going up and down the other side (the way the station map said the electronics would be at) and there were loads of shops in all sizes... but not the one we really wanted to find. Finally we made it to the other side of Akihabara station and there it was, Yodobashi-Akiba, mecca for all geeks!!! I truly recommend it to all as you can find so many different little trinkets you'll never find at home (well, at least in Finland).
I almost got a new cover for my iPod nano (but didn't in the end), which was difficult as apparently my nano is one generation too old to have that many accessories. Mine is 3rd generation while the one sold now is 4th generation. Yikes. Anyway, I bought a deco cover for my Wii-mote (Hello Kitty) and tried to find something for my mom... but didn't.
After shopping we went to relax at the hotel for a bit and then went to do some karaoke in Akihabara. Oh, 4 hours of karaoke is plenty!!!
