Foster's Tour
Ok so again,
After seeing shell beach we had a LONG trip 700km to the last overnight stop b4 Broom which was a cattle station near Port Headland. as you can imagin there were cattle every where, running along side and infront of the bus. once there it was not as basic as we all thought it would be and the rooms where big and had tv's and dvd players in, so after a home made stew and some drinks round the fire a few of us settled down to watch a couple of Freinds's dvd's, and then an early night. The next day we just drove to Broom with no real stops of intrest on the way. By this point i had made more new friends two of which were Amy and Dave (brother and sister from Shadwell, Leeds) and also hello to Rachel and Martin (who id been traveling with for a while now)
When we arrived in Broom we dropped our bags off in our room and headded off to Cable beach to watch the famous sunset, yes i took pics, but to be honest it wasnt one of the better ones. We all headded back to the hostel for cheep pizza and drinks. We headded into town to a local bar which shockingly bad !! didnt spend long there and went to bed. The next day was spent food shopping, swimming in the pool and went to see X-men 3, Amy and Dave went ot see The Da Vince Code in the out door cinema which was really cool, you sit in front a a big screan in deck chairs and they serve food in your seat. Later that night we all had a big night out starting in an out door club/bar which was alot of fun and ended in a club next door. The next morning i had the hard task of laying by the pool most of the morning with every one else. im getting tired of this i miss work.....hahahahahaha.
At 2 o'clock we all got the free beach shuttle down to Cable beach to watch a radio road show. It was an awesome day, we sat on a big grass park with the beach no more than 40 steps away to your left, 2 cafe's to your right and a big stage in front of you, and people scattered all around you drinking and having fun. Then as the sun sets you can see it setting over the beach and the sea while the live music continued. And it was all free !!! As we sat there the next easy rider bus (the comp i had been traveling with) had arrived and some of the people who i had made friends with but had stayed in Exmouth showed up which made the night even better. The next day we all had a lie in and then agreed to go to the races. There was a bus that left at 12:20 that we were all going to catch, so every one was sat down in the reception chatting away at 12:00 ready to go, i poped upstaires to have a quick shower which turned out to be 25 mins long !! i ran down stairs to find that i had missed the bus and now had to catch a cab !@! brill. Once there we had a top day staying till about 5pm and betting on most of the races, i had a poor record of 2 wins out of 6 races !
Later that evening i chenged into my ENGLAND top and sat myself down in prime possition in front of the tv, the places packed out just b4 the game so i was well pleased to have front row action, with beers and chips (chrisps) in had we sat and watched the match. Later that night i said bye to every one as i was about to set off on a 5 day camping trip up to Darwin.
Im now in Darwin and will fill you all in on the camping fun in the next couple of days.
Hope every one is well and email me soon
