Foster's Tour
Ok, So to carry on form yesterday.
The last day in coral bay was just spent down at the beach, snorkeling and tanning haha. We had a quiet night (ish) and the next day some of us headded onto the next stop Exmouth.
Met more people on the new bus a big Hi to Dave and Amy (brother and sister from Shadwell, Leeds) we went to snorkell at a place called Turqoise Bay, which was AGAIN stunning, we saw a massive turtle as soon as we waded in, the fish were awesome and every where, we saw bright blue star fish, spotted manta rays, octapusses plenty of fish form the Nemo film (but not Nemo) Then we drove around the corner and u a hill to the lighthouse to watch the sun set, sorry to tell you but i have loads of pic to put on and 90% of them are sunsets, every one i have seen is stunning. Spent the night in Exmouth, yes there were a few drinks flowing. The next day we set off (again leaving some friends behind that will catch up later) to Auski, the drive was the longest of the journey and ws just over 700km. On the way there a fire engine shot past us, and once we reach where it was going there were loads of police cars and fire engines, we got out to see what was happening only to be told that a MASSIVE truck had hit a car and caravan, you could see the mess on the road, there was nothing lefty of the caravan and the car was off the road. Two girl on our bus said that they were doctors and did they need any help. As we were in the middle of knowere they glady needed the help as there was only 1 doctor in the area, so of they shot and we went back to the bus to sit quietly and wait..... or if truth wre told we got a football out of the back and kicked the ball around in the middle of the road for 2 hours, during this time the ambulance came driving past us shouting "i have your 2 girls" and shot off. This ment that we had to travel another hour back to the Hospital in Tom Price. Again we sat outside and kicked the ball around for another hour untill the girls arrived to imform us that an elderly woman had stoped breathing but was ok now and her husband only suffered head injury but was fine. So all in order we set of in the pitch black to our camp site in Auski to have a night in front of the camp fire and and early night. The next day was another early morning, and we set of to The local Gorges, which were.....yep stunning. We swam in different water falls all day with no one around but us. it was complete bliss. After that we set off on another long drive to our next destination stopping off at shell beach which was...... made of shells. very strange indeed.
Running out of time again so will write the next part againlater or tom.
ta ta for now
