Ok, ok

The following day after the skydive i moved on to Rotarua..... This place stinks !!!

This is mainly due to the sulpher mud spot things !!!! Its not 2 bad all the time, but as your walking around minding your own business you get a whiff of it and man does it stink !

The 1st night i spent alone :-( I just potted around the centre for a bit and watched a few films in the Hostel. The next day again i wondered around Rotarua looking for interesting things to do... and sorry to tell you.... there isnt alot !!! Thats night again watching t.v i met Oli (from England) top lad and a devoted Anchorman fan. So we got on like a house on fire. The next day Vicky and Kirsty arrived, which was all fun and games as i had company again... including Oli of course. That night Vicky, Kirsty and me went to a Maouri night, which was plenty fun. They have a big welcome performance, then you wonder around a Maouri village, then they put on another show and dance... including the very impressive Haka !!! Then after all that they serve you a feast. The food is cooked in the traditional way and baked in the ground ! They dig a whole, burn rocks till they are white hot, place sticks and leaves over them then place the food on top of that, then they cover it all with more leaves and it cooks Very very well....mmmmm.

The next day i had wanted to leave but due to the stupid stupid Kiwi Experince bus timetable there was no bus so had to stay another night.

But the following day we all (Oli, Kirsty, Vicky and MEEEEE) set of to Auckland. We all only spent 1 night in Auckland which we did justice by going out (well downstairs to the Hostel Bar) and Drinking the night away. Some of us danced.....well i danced and the others stood and laughed, but a good night was had by all. The next day the 4 of us set of upto the Bay Of Islands for a relaxing few days.
