Today was all about Vatican City. Our tour guide was great, he was very animated and kept the group interested throughout the day where he told us all the history of the Catholic church. First stop was the Bridge of Angels, Castle St Angelo and then for lunch I had an amazing prosciutto, brea & rocket panini with ricotta & walnut sauce, YUM! Today was an orientation tour of Rome. We started at Circus Maximus and saw the Palatine Hill, Mouth of Truth, Pantheon, Jewish Ghetto, Piazza Venezia, Mussolinis balcony, the Roman Forums and finished off at the Colosseum. During the day I had the most delicious Gelato from a place which sold over 150 flavours!
