Today I went to Corso Buenes Aires, a street dedicated to shopping. I had some delicious gelato and then returned to the Duomo, where I walked around inside and then went to the roof for some views of Milan. Later that night I went to Naviglio Grande, the street that lines one of the canals in Milan. I went and enjoyed one of my favourite Italian customs, aperitivo (unlimited delish italian food free with your 8 euro cocktail).

Arrived in Milan yesterday. Today I went out and explored a little. I started at the gorgeous Duomo (the worlds largest gothic cathedral), and then made my way through the designer shopping areas (drooling). I then went to Castello Sforzesco (a castle built in the 15th century).

A day on the bus today from Florence to Nice. We stopped off at Pisa on the way, I got some dorky tourist photos with the leaning tower and then it wasn't long and we were back on the bus. Arrived in Nice quite late, where I spent the night just planning up and coming travel plans.

Got up this morning after a much needed rest and headed to the Uffizi Gallery. Instead of waiting in the 6 hour line to get in, I paid an extra 5 euro and bought a ticket from a guide and went straight in. The gallery was huge and full of amazing renaissance art. I did a little shopping, met up with another girl on busabout, and got some dinner and gelato.

Today Ingrid and myself went sight seeing. We walked to Basilica di Santa Croce, back to Piazza Michelangelo to see the view during the day, to Palazzo Pitti, where we got some lunch. I wasn't feeling the greatest so we headed home for a relax and then later went out for dinner.
