Today I met a lovely girl named Katlin from New York. We went to Versailles which was gorgeous, I just walking around imagining I was Marie Antoinette. We ate lunch in the garden, and then returned back to Paris. We got some bottles of wine and went and drank infront of the Eiffel Tower as the sun set. We then went for dinner, ate some snails of course, and I had a steak with potato gratin, amazing!

I was going to start my day by going to a flea market, but got off at the metro stop and decided that there were too many scary looking men, so on the metro I hop again haha. I started at the Notre Dame, then went to Musee de Orsay, the Louvre to see miss Mona Lisa, then walked along champs élysées to the Arc de Triomphe. Today after a bit of a sleep in, I grabbed a croissant and jumped on the Metro. I got off at Place du Trocadero, for some amazing views of the Eiffel Tower. After some photos I went and got a baguette and sat down in the park in front of the tower. This was one of the greatest moments of my life; beautiful day, delicious food, in Paris, staring at a monument I never thought I'd see outside of a photograph. Bonjour! Today I went on a tour of two Chateau's (castles); Chambord and Chenonceau. Chambord was absolutely monstrous, but gorgeous none the less. Chenonceau was a little more refined in size (if there is such thing when referring to a castle), probably because it was the women's castle. It was surrounded by a lake and several beautiful manicured gardens. Definitely felt like I was in a fairy tale.

After a short flight, I arrived in Bordeaux. I spent most of the day just wondering the streets, ducking into little boutiques and cafes full of amazing desserts and pastries. I then went inside 'Cathedrale St-Andre' and then climbed Tour Pey-Berlands 232 steps to get panoramic views of Bordeaux.
