Today after a bit of a sleep in, I grabbed a croissant and jumped on the Metro.
I got off at Place du Trocadero, for some amazing views of the Eiffel Tower. After some photos I went and got a baguette and sat down in the park in front of the tower. This was one of the greatest moments of my life; beautiful day, delicious food, in Paris, staring at a monument I never thought I'd see outside of a photograph.

I sat there for an hour (but could have stayed in that spot for countless more) and then met my guide for my bike tour. We got to see Napoleons Tomb, The Louvre, Champs Elysees, beautiful gardens, and so much more.
