Have been over in Tokyo for a while. Its a huge city, very hectic and loads of sights. Experienced the last train home and if you thought the tube could get crowded, you would be in for a shock, they literally climb on top of each other. Explored Shinjuku and central Tokyo. There are loads of famous buildings, the Tokyo times square and skyscrappers. I went to the imperial gardens for the afternoon which are beautiful and absolutely enormous, the famous fountain is very impressive near the castle. Tokyo tower is plonked in the middle of all of this and a bit of an eye sore. Explored shinbuya which is very young and busy with loads of shops really like it their got a bit carried away on the shopping but mostly pressies so its ok. I managed to arrive during the sumo tournament so spent a day at the show which was brilliant, I'm a dedicated fan now! There is so much cermony and its more complicated then two fat men pushing each other out of a ring. They are mini celebs here so I met them afterwards with all the other groupies and got a picture. Explored ueno zoo and some museums, tried some eels, snails and raw horse meat in asakusa, saw the temples and went to the fishmarket which is amazing!!!! you have to watch out for the little cars that will run you over and 6am start is very hard now but I have met some great people along the way so we all went together. Met some French, South African and English people so had some good food and nice meals out. Have headed back to Minowa and have been exploring here, will probably head off to nagoya some time this week.
Hope everyone is well back hope, thanks for all the messages keep me up to date with everything back there.
