Nicola's Travels
Salamanca is a beautiful city in the North of Spain. We travelled to Madrid on Friday night and then on to Salamanca the next morning. It was a very long train journey, almost 7 hours in total but it was worth it. I was surprised by how small the city is but even though it s small it still is very charming. We visited the Cathedral, the university and the Plaza Mayor. The Plaza Mayor was incredible, especially when we saw it at night. The Cathedral is also a beautiful building. In the evening, we went for drinks in an ERASMUS bar which there are loads of in Salamanca. Even though it was a long trip for a short amount of time, I’d definitely recommend visiting.
