We set our alarm and were up at 0930, we wanted to lye in but needed to get up so we didn't get jet lag! We got the bus to the other side of the island to see the North Shore. We had to get 2 busses and in total it took about 2 hours to get there! We went to Bonzai pipeline (where all the surfing comp's happen) and also sunset beach but saw numerous other bays and beaches too. The waves were huge, so much bigger than any we saw in Oz - by far!!

We got the bus back the other way around the island so today we've seen so much of Oahu, the beaches, bays, towns, green hills and mountains! The NFL Pro Bowl is tomorrow so Waikiki was putting on a huge party, pep rally type thing. The roads had been closed and there were stalls and bands and performers everywhere - all lit by fire torches and NFL lit balloons - it was really cool and such a good atmosphere!

When we got back we spent the evening in with all the guys in our dorm and we all did home made burgers for dinner and watched a film!
