We decided to go on a mini safari instead and so spent the day in the national park. We went elephant trekking which I swear to god was the most terrifying thing I have ever done. Our elephant was definately more insane than the others and where everyone else was rocking along nicely, we were lurching from side to side. Then we had to go downhill. Well. I thought we were going to go straight over the elephants head and land in front to be trampled on. Great. Given that we were going to do some sunbathing and see some nice monkeys, I don't know what induced me to decide to go elephant trekking but there you go. We also went to a waterfall, went on an ox cart ride, and went on a nature canoe, but none of the other activities where anywhere near as scary as the elephant. We have a few pictures of us looking terrified which I will try and stick on when I get to Oz.
